Welsh Ladies Amateur Championship, May 26th - 28th 2018

Our course was prepared and presented in perfect condition over the Bank Holiday.  Supporters and spectators were shown a spectacular standard of play over the three days. A hole in one was achieved on the 12th by 12 year old Kasumi Tran from Tenby.  The eventual winner was Lea-Anne Bramwell, aged 17 from Abergele  who beat Ffion Tynan from Minchinhampton (and Pyle and Kenfig) in a thrilling final.  The Plate was won by Darcey Harry from the Vale who beat Ffion Vineal from Newport, again on the 18th. Charlotte Bethell and Alice Thomas qualified for the match-play stage but Charlotte met Ffion Tynan and Alice had to play Ffion Vineal.

David Wilson, Wales Golf Championships Manager paid tribute to our course, as well as the players: “The course was in great condition, a worthy host for one of our top Championships”, he said.
